ABOUT US
Founded in 2015, ARTICLE NO. is an LA‑based wellness footwear brand merging West Coast street style with natural movement.
Modern life demands a lot from your feet. Between long hours on concrete, busy commutes, and rushing from work to the studio, our feet bear the weight of it all usually locked inside stiff, restrictive shoes that compromise our natural movement and comfort.
ARTICLE NO. was built to change that. Guided by nature and rooted in LA street culture, we always put feet first and people first.
- Nature informs, we design, LA, CA.
We craft timeless wellness footwear with respect for tomorrow’s manufacturing and mindful materials, protecting your foot health far beyond temporary trends. Built on our core wide toe box DNA, our collection spans from zero‑drop with ultimate ground feel for natural strength, to balanced cushioning and post‑workout relief and recovery.
This is where functional wellness meets an effortless West Coast lifestyle, allowing you to feel the ground and move with absolute freedom.
Move with intention.
Live without compromise.

All other countries ship DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Your local customs authority may charge duties and taxes before releasing your parcel. These are set by your country rather than by us, so we can't calculate them in advance.

FAQ
1. Sizing & Fit
• Are your shoes true to size?
Our footwear is designed with a generous, foot‑shaped fit to give your
toes plenty of room to splay naturally and fit true to your standard sneaker size. The Golden Rule: Because conventional narrow shoes tend to squeeze your feet, we strongly recommend sizing up one full size to enjoy total toe freedom.
Our Vagabond model naturally fits true to size, so you can stick to your regular number.
If you are between sizes on any other model, always size up!
• What sizing system do you use?
Our footwear is crafted using accurate European sizing (EU) for production precision. We seamlessly convert these to standard US Men's and Women's equivalents on our store site so you never have to guess.
• What if they don't fit?
We offer a 30‑day window to initiate a free return or exchange for all US orders. For international orders, please refer to our full Returns Policy page for complete details on coverage.
2. Design & Collections
• What is the "Wide Toe Box" and why does it matter?
Unlike conventional footwear that tapers and cramps your toes together, our signature wide toe box is shaped
to let your forefoot expand naturally. This improves your balance, stability,
and everyday comfort.
• Which collection is right for me?
o Barefoot: Features an extra‑wide fit, zero‑drop profile, and ultra‑flexible sole for maximum ground feel and natural muscle activation.
o Cushion & Support: Engineered with our wide toe box and balanced underfoot padding to provide relief during long days on your feet.
o Recovery & Leisure: Designed as easy slip‑ons with plush relief for post‑workout or casual travel.
• Do all your styles feature a wide toe box?
Yes. Our core wide toe box DNA is the foundation of every style we design, with our Barefoot collection offering an extra‑wide fit for ultimate room.
3. Transitioning
• I’ve never worn wide‑toe or barefoot shoes before. Will they feel different?
It may take 1‑2 days for your feet to adjust as they begin moving freely. We recommend wearing them for a few hours at a time during your first week.
4. Socks & Foot Health
• Do I need to wear socks with them?
Yes, wearing socks is completely normal and recommended. Socks
help manage sweat, keep your feet fresh, and reduce friction during all‑day
wear.
• Should I wear special socks for better results?
Yes! We strongly suggest wearing toe socks or Tabi socks with our shoes. Toe and Tabi socks allow every single toe to
separate independently, maximizing your toe alignment, balance, and overall foot protection inside the wide toe box.
5. Shipping & Returns
• Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship globally. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your destination.
•What are your shipping/return terms for the USA?
We offer free shipping and free 30-day returns on all US orders.
•How do international returns work?
International customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please visit our Returns Portal to start the process and view the specific instructions for your country.
